Ava is an Iranian-born composer, pianist and bass guitarist. Whilst in her late teens Ava founded the post-punk girl group ‘The Finches’, since 2020 she has worked solo, experimenting on the interface between ambient, modern classical and drone. Transitioning her storytelling to the realm of cinema led Ava to scoring soundtracks for the movies, “Double Life” and "The Great Yawn of History”. Following a series of sonically evolving singles and a couple of self-released the long-players, Ava has now joined FatCat Records’ 130701 imprint.
